Nancy Grodd joined First New York Realty in 1994 after almost a decade of practicing law in New York City at Ellison Kilkelly & Rice. She specialized in contracts, construction law and commercial litigation, primarily representing large corporations and institutions. She received her Bachelor's Degree at Boston University and her J.D. at Benjamin Cardozo School of Law.
She has taken her knowledge of the law, extensive negotiating and mediating experience and general knowledge of the local business environment to successfully represent large and small tenants in a variety of leasing, subleasing and sales transactions. Her extensive legal background has proven invaluable in negotiating with landlords and their representatives, analyzing lease provisions, and providing skilled counsel to her customers. The amount of "repeat business" she has received speaks to the satisfaction of the tenants she has worked with.
Ms. Grodd has successfully represented tenants from a diverse range of industries and professions including banking and finance, new media and publishing, public relations, insurance, technology, advertising, apparel and design, professional services, consulting, entertainment and the arts, beauty and healthcare, international organizations, architecture and construction, and not-for-profit organizations throughout New York City.
Nancy has been honored for her outstanding business accomplishments with the firm's "Broker of the Year" award.
